An innovative law firm renowned for helping others to relocate and set down roots is to take up residency in Liverpool this month.

Expanding on the company’s existing footprint in Manchester and London, property specialist PLS Solicitors will open the doors to its new city centre home on October 5th – a move which will bring expert mortgage and conveyancing advice, as well as employment opportunities, to Merseyside.

The Liverpool office will initially be home to five of the firm’s existing staff, who will be joined by seven locally-recruited conveyancers. However, with space for more than 30 people and safe, hybrid working processes in place, the company has plans for further growth.

For Dean Carruthers, Head of Operations at PLS Solicitors, the opening of a hub in the maritime city marks a return to familiar territory.

“As a Liverpudlian I am delighted to be heading up our presence there,” he said. “Liverpool boasts a wealth of legal talent for us to recruit from and an additional office in the northwest of England will allow us to extend our residential conveyancing services to a greater number of customers.

“We are looking forward to forging new relationships in the region and showcasing our market-leading processes to those on our Liverpool doorstep.”

PLS Solicitors prides itself on pioneering the use of technology within the residential property sector, with its PLS Portal 24/7 negating the need for customers to physically visit an office to sign documents and a proven means of preventing the mortgage application process from stalling.

Similarly, askPLS enables lenders to remotely check progress on their case using an Amazon Alexa smart device.
