As we come towards the end of the year, we’re looking back at some of Plumlife Homes’ recent successes and looking ahead to some exciting future developments that will be launching before Christmas.
For 25 years, the multi-award-winning Shared Ownership specialist has been helping people find their forever homes and has an incredible range of affordable properties in carefully selected locations.
With the buoyant housing market and more people working from home, Plumlife has seen a high demand at a number of developments, most noticeably in the area of Oldham, where the majority of properties have been reserved off-plan - even before the launch of the show homes.
One of the most popular developments was Radclyffe Gardens in Chadderton, a mixture of 61 brand new two, three and four bedroom homes all available to purchase through the Shared Ownership scheme.
After previously renting, 31-year-old Nursing Assistant, Stevie Walsh, was looking to stay in the Chadderton area and found her forever home at Radclyffe Gardens earlier this year. Talking about her new home, Stevie said:
“My family is split between New Moston and Chadderton, so the location was perfect.
“When I had a look at the available homes, I was amazed by the size of the rooms.
“My dad came to look at the house with me and we were really impressed by the quality of the build and the size of the rooms.
“That made the decision to reserve the property even easier.”
Stevie bought a 45% share in her three-bedroom property. Speaking of the Shared Ownership process and the benefits of the scheme, Stevie explained:
“The sales staff were fantastic and were all very helpful and approachable, they made the process pretty straightforward.
“I have already referred some of my friends to think about buying a Shared Ownership home of their own.
“It’s given me the chance to own a fantastic home sooner than I might have been able to and that’s made a real difference to me.”
The success in Chadderton has been reflected at Carding Gardens in Royton where all 21 properties were reserved within two weeks of the off-plan sales launch, and most recently at the Heyside Grove development in Oldham where the majority of the homes were reserved off-plan on the launch day itself.
Looking ahead, as people begin to wind down towards Christmas, there’s no slowing up for Plumlife who will look to launch at least a further two developments in November.
A stunning new development in the picturesque setting of the Ribble Valley, Montague Place will offer 17 brand new two and three bedroom houses and two bedroom bungalows – all available to purchase through the Shared Ownership scheme.
There will also be a first for Plumlife as they launch Heyhouses, their first Shared Ownership development in the Blackpool area - located in the quaint seaside town of Lytham St Anne’s. The development, which will feature a mixture of 16 two, three and four bedroom homes, is definitely one to keep your eye on.
